After a week of being without power, total loss of internet, and an overall crazy family, I just couldn't sit still any longer. So what did I do? I got out of the city and made the one-and-a-half hour trip to visit my second family in College Station (slightly dysfunctional, but I love them just the same). It was an amazing trip, but when I leave, I always feel like I'm leaving something behind.
